In 2004 Baumer introduced the new non-stop high speed shrink wrapping system. This extremely innovative system is actually the fastest shrink wrapper in the world running at 200 bundles per minute (on a single row!)
The film roll is automatically changed reducing the speed to 80 bundles a minute with each roll used up to the very end. When the roll has been changed, no bundles are lost, compared to other systems, because they use an adhesive tape or a heat seal joint. The operator replaces the empty roll during production in total comfort and with simple operations.
The accumulation conveyor can be drastically reduced, because of the high reliability of the machine and the speed being reduced to 80 bundles/min. when the reel is automatically changed. The printed film registration is made automatically and without waste. While other shrink wrappers need three lanes to achieve the required production speed, Baumer can do the same in two lanes, which is a huge advantage. |
