The CLEAR PAD for tapered cup multipack is a patent pending system innovated by Polypack. This invention eliminates both the corrugated pads and the glue in tapered cup multipacks. Corrugated bottom support, in between layers or top pads can be replaced by patent pending clear pads that can be placed in-between and on top on tapered cups to protect the products' lids. Polypack's modular system can be added onto Polypack shrink equipment to automatically place the clear pads in between and on top of products. The cups are then shrink-wrapped to prevent chiming. No glue is needed; we eliminate hot-melt dispensers and messy glue. | |

Solution 1:

Advantages
- Eliminate top and bottom pad. The center pad alone will prevent product lids from chiming throughout distribution.
- No glue. No need to purchase this consumable item, less maintenance with elimination of hot melt dispenser. Polypack equipment can positively control products during collation without messy glue to hold products in place.
- Less film. Approximately 20% less film is used for the outer sleeve wrap when the top & bottom pads are removed. Products are held together much more tightly when the film is allowed to conform to the contours of the products.
