The wraparound case delivers a huge amount of material costs savings over a traditional RSCs. With corrugated wraparound case packers, a sheet of die-cut cardboard is folded tightly around the products themselves, rather than being pre-formed. Traditional RSCs have redundant flaps, overlapping each other, located at sides, and the case is generally larger than needed to accomodate the loading equipment. With a wraparound case packer, there is no need to accomodate and loading assemblies inside the case during the packaging process, so the wraparound case much tighter while using less material per case. Wraparound cases significantly reduce the amount of corrugate overlaps found in traditioanl RSC packaging, while still providing a strong case that delivers superb strength for palletizing and distribution.
Wraparound cases save up to 30% on corrugated consumption and make tighter cases when compared to RSC packaging
