Many companies manufacture shrink wrap machines. What sets Polypack apart from the rest are the limitless possibilities for product collation, drawn from over 60 years of experience. Polypack offers product re-orientation for containers on our Pharma machines that are both entering and exiting our machines. Squared and rectangular products can be turned, re-oriented, and collated to suit your particular packaging needs.
Trays
Pre-trayed pharmaceuticals can be shrink wrapped in bullseye/sleeve wrap or total closure for optimum protection against dust, dirt, and humidity. For bullseye/sleeve wrap applications, our Pharma series wrappers offer a small footprint to get the job done in the least amount of space possible.
Nested Packs®
Pharmaceutical bottles and vials can be shrink wrapped in a nested configuration. Nesting employs the use of offset rows in order to increase the rigidity of the pack. Since the products are already nested into one another, there is no place for them to go. This allows Nested Packs® to maintain their pack integrity throughout normal handling and distribution conditions. Small vials and bottles can be packaged in high count brick packs, using offset rows to create an extremely dense pack for distribution purposes.
Small Bottles
Polypack's Pharma machines are amongst the smallest automatic shrink wrap machines ever produced. These compact machines can run both bottles and cartons in multiple configurations with minimal changeover.
Cartons
Polypack's high speed total closure shrink wrap machines can be used to collate cartons and place them on a pad at high speeds. Using multiple sealing bars, higher speeds can be achieved than previous shrink wrap equipment designs.
Tubes
Polypack’s TUBE series shrink wrap machines save money by eliminating inner chipboard cartons and dividers in a master case as well as eliminating additional transfers which is the ideal solution for these hard-to-handle containers. Polypack’s pick & place system can also be used to shrink wrap pouches and small, lightweight bags.
High-count Brick Packs
Polypack offers total closure shrink wrap equipment for high count nested brick packs. Using offset rows, or rows of alternating quantities, the containers are nested into a predetermined configuration. Since the individual containers are nested prior to shrink wrapping them, the resulting pack is extremely strong and no product shifting can occur.
